Herbs for the Heart:

Health astrology is one of the oldest branches of medicine; a framework for understanding how planetary cycles affect the body, and a new cycle is about to begin.

Starting this summer, there is a focus on Leo and the heart.

Jupiter enters Leo in late June 2026 — and in health astrology, Leo rules the heart, the circulation, and what traditional medicine calls the vital fire. Jupiter amplifies everything it touches. When it moves through Leo, the heart is activated, in individuals and collectively.

The solar eclipse in Leo, in August 2026, affects this even more. Eclipses mark turning points in health astrology, moments when the body starts a shift. And because eclipses work along the nodal axis, the opposing sign Aquarius will naturally come up in class as well.

This is not a one-day event. The Jupiter in Leo cycle and the Leo-Aquarius eclipse series run through mid-2027 and January 2028 respectively.

Eclipses and Jupiter transits affect everyone, but if you have strong Leo or Aquarius in your chart, this cycle may speak directly to you.

Part One: Leo and the Heart and a bit about Aquarius and the Nervous System

Kira will start by giving everyone a solid overview of Leo in health astrology terms as well as a complementary overview of it's opposite, Aquarius.

Part Two: What Eclipses (with Jupiter) Mean in Health Astrology — and What This One May Mean for You

• What does a solar eclipse in Leo signal, for people generally and perhaps specifically?
• Will cardiac events rise collectively?
• Who should pay closest attention?
• Because eclipses work along the nodal axis, how much might this affect other signs like Aquarius, which governs the nervous system?
• Plus, since Jupiter is so closely involved in this, what role might that play?

Part Three: Supporting the Heart Through this Eclipse Cycle

Learn Kira's favorite heart remedies, how she chooses between them, and how to think about ongoing, holistic support through this cycle that runs into 2028.

Part Four: Your Questions Bring your Health Astrology Field Guide Chart (included) and bring your questions. Kira will respond from her years of clinical and teaching experience, grounded and genuinely useful.

What is the free Health Astrology Field Guide?

The Health Astrology Field Guide walks you through how to get your free birth chart, understanding your key placements, and includes a section to fill in Kira's herbal recommendations as she teaches. It's formatted to use for yourself, or share with someone you love. The guide is in the Welcome section of this class, in your account as soon as you purchase.

What is the Introduction to Health Astrology for Herbalists class?

This is Kira's introductory class — a walkthrough of a real natal chart showing you how she reads it for health insights. It is included in the course as its own section.

Will there be a Q&A?

Yes. The recording includes the full Q&A. Because a thorough chart assessment requires far more than a single class allows, Kira will respond to questions from a general teaching perspective rather than addressing specific individual chart readings — for example, questions like "my chart has X, what does that mean for me?" are better suited to a personal consultation. General questions about Leo, Aquarius, eclipses, herbs, and how to apply what she's teaching are very much welcome.

How do I watch the recording?

Sign in and open the course. The class video, audio, and slides are all in the course player, and you have access for 1 year.

What level is this class for?

This class works best for people who at least know their sun sign and are curious about using herbs for health.
