About This Course

Iconic and masterful herbal practitioners and teachers from the North and South of the United States, Matthew Wood and Phyllis D. Light (author of  Southern Folk Medicine) meet online to guide you through the fundamentals of holistic herbal evaluation.


The first Curriculum Classes are:

Legal and Ethical Implication

Holism versus Reductionism in Assessment 

Energetic and Constitutional Assessment.


Then, a second monthly classes is added in which a volunteer client will be evaluated by Matthew and Phyllis demonstrating the principles taught in the previous class. These Clinical Application Classes will be held on the 4th Wednesday of the month.

There will be a minimum of 42 hours of instruction for the entire course!
