Join Matthew Wood online for an herb walk in Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden, in Minneapolis, on Sunday June 30, 2019, 2:00 - 4:15PM CDT easy timezone converter here
Matthew has been teaching herbs in the park since 1982 and has never tired of his plant and human friends.
This year we will see the midsummer plants; next year spring and late summer.
Improve your plant identification skills, enlarge your knowledge of the doctrine of signatures (and add your own interpretations), and learn about herbal properties, energetics, and history.
In prior years, a large group of students swarmed around Matthew as he meandered purposefully through the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden.
This year, you can join from wherever you are and get a front row seat without having to contest with the Minnesota state bird... the mosquito!
Enjoy the Free Preview Herb Walk below from our 2018 Intermediate Herbal Medicine Course filmed at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. This is also the location of this summer's Intermediate/Advanced course, Pulse, Tongue and Facial Assessment with Matthew Wood, Phyllis Light and Francis Bonaldo.
For this June 30th Herb Walk, Matt will be mic'd, so the quality is expected to be similar to the Free Preview walk. This live broadcast is in a wooded valley in the heart of Minneapolis. We've tested the signal and things look good, but there may be an occasional delay in the broadcast.
For just $15 you'll have the best spot in the group PLUS 1 year access to the recording!
The best seat is online!
To attend in-person is normally $35 per person. In-person attendance is by invitation only. The group must be kept very small for filming purposes.
In case of rain the walk will be rescheduled. No refunds will be issued in the case of rescheduling. Purchase of this class is for the June 30th class only.
After June 30th this herb walk will be accessible in our collection of Herb Walks in the Library for $45 per month along with many other valuable courses. On that note, if you are an active subscriber of the Library as of June 30th, access to the live class is included in your subscription!
Q&A - We plan on taking questions during the event. If for some reason we are not able to, participants can ask questions in the Discussion section on the site that accompanies the recording/video.
Attend the live broadcast online and enjoy the recording at your leisure! The recording will be posted within 2 days of the event.
Details on how to attend the live web-class and how to participate in the Discussion are in the Welcome section available upon registration. We use a very user-friendly webinar service called Zoom. Details on software and hardware requirements are here. Download Zoom software here.
